Major 1 month

Dad has started work again so its just me and my two little monsters I was really nervous about taking care of you both by myself but you are still sleeping most of the time and you are pretty good about laying by yourself that it has made this transition pretty easy . the hardest thing is when you are sleeping I have to put you up hi so Ryan doesn't come and wake you up she has loved so much having her own little buddy . She has started to call you brother but it sounds more like brother Sun. and lately she has been calling you handsome because that is what I call you. We have gone on a few out to use this month we take you to church for the first time and we also took you to 7 peaks. Aunt Megan told you most of the time and she told me this was the funnest seven peaks trip that she has ever been on.

College Kids

It is our third year anniversary this year, and Bryce and thought it would be fun to reenact our first date after he got home from his mission. Mommy Pony was kind enough to watch our kids for us. So we took off on the motorcycle down to Trafalga, and just like on our first date he pulled out some crazy driving tricks (like accidentally going onto a freeway ramp and then deciding you didn't want get on the freeway so, you just turn around while on the ramp. Don't worry it is okay because we are on a motorcycle) Somethings never change!!! All the kids were back in school and so it was dead there. There were only little little kids who aren't in school yet, and I was feeling pretty old. I felt like I needed to have Ryann there to justify my being there, but it didn't take long for the kid in me come out. I only needed one race around the go kart track and it was game on, and since no one was there we got to ride it around as much as we wanted!

Next we headed over the the water bumper boats. The first go around is was just Bryce and I in there and he drilled me. I was soaking yet. Between that and the motorcycle ride I am not sure why I tired to get ready in the first place. On the next round of water boats a few other people joined us and helped me soak Bryce but even then I pretty sure I got the most wet award. Next we did some mini golf (we even got to makeout a little in one of the tunnels) and then some lazertag. I felt like I was in college all over again. I couldn't remember the last time I had that much fun with Bryce. I love him more than I did back then and is still magic and excitement. We finished the date off with an icee and a couples massage. I couldn't have asked for a better date or a better husband. I am thinking we are going to have to do this more often!!!

Ryann-17 & 18 Months

Ryann turned 17 months right before she got a new baby brother, and when I got back from the hospital it was like all of a sudden she seemed so grown up I couldn't believe how big and smart she had gotten.
She and auntie Jade really bonded while I was away. Jade said she hardly cried or fussed the whole time and when they came to see us all she wanted was Jade!
She is at the cutest stage where she is like a sponge and just repeats everything. Right now these are a few of her favorite things:
  • Favorite Book: bubbles bubbles. She loves all books really, but she especially seems to like this one she even reads some parts of the pages to me. She also like books with a "noon" (moon) on them One night Bryce had just gotten home from work and he was just sitting there on the ground and so Ryann took advantage and made him read every single book that we owned to her. It was the cutest thing. She would get a book back up into his lap plop herself on down and then throw her head back into his belly.
  • TV show: Mickey Mouse Club House: She hands me the tv remote and says "ouse ouse". She especially loves minnie (mie) and doing the hot dog dance!!
  • Movie: She is going through this fish stage right now. She even made Bryce change the screen saver on his phone to the fish. So one day I was getting really sick of watching Mickey Mouse and so I thought she might like watching Finding Nemo. boy was I right, she loved it!! Now that is all we watch all day long. Not even daddy can resist her handing him the DVD remote and saying fisy fisy. She call Nemo "Mamu"
  • Food: Corn especially when it is on the cob, and especially the corn out of Grandpa's garden!! She enjoys feeding herself and trying to eat from a spoon or fork. when she gets hungry  she says bamo meaning bumbo. She can drink from a cup, but she usually makes a big mess so I prefer her to drnk from her sippy. She calls it her pissy. She loves eating with momma pony and her family. She always seems to wander upstairs right when they are having dinner climbs up to the table and plops down onto one of their chairs and yells food food.

  • Toy: She loves toy strollers and chairs to climb in. Now that Major is here she is really good about entertaining herself. I was worried that she wouldn't like it when I had to feed him, but she just loves her brother so much that she doesn't seem to mind. I can't wait for him to get older and then they can play together hopefully they will be as cute as they are now!!
  • Song: The wheels on the bus. She learned this song in nursery. I was surprised how fast she caught on to it. she knows all the action and loves to sing town at the end of the song as loud as she can. She also loves to sing ring around the rosies. She especially loves the part where you fall down.

Ryann constantly amazes me. She knows how to count to 10.
She tells me when she poops. I think it is a good start. I am hoping she will be ready to start potty training soon even though I am in no rush to start what I hear is a dreadful process.
Ryann helps clean around the house. She is especially good at throwing dirty diapers in the garbage.

She also loves to help take care of her little brother. She gives him kisses everytime she sees him. She likes to put his binky in his mouth when he is crying. She likes to push him in his swing, and teach him his body parts by poking his eyes out, pulling his hair and sticking her fingers in his mouth. Lately she tries to hold him and pick him up.

Ryann knows her own name and everyone else in our family, although she call major brother. She can also say and point to all of her body parts, although she thinks her girl junk is her bum.

She loves tubby time especially when there are bubbles. She puts them on her chin and says ho ho ho.

She knows how to calm herself down when I tell her to quit crying.

She is a girly girl and loves bracelets I always find my rubberbands around her wrists. She also loves shoes

She has a love/hate relationship with the puppies. One night as we were getting ready for bed I caught her picking them up one by one and putting them in their cage. It was cute, but I kind of felt bad for the puppies. She wasn't very gentle about putting them in their box. it was more like throwing them in.
She loves to talk on the phone. One day  I was trying to fix dinner and Ryann was crying and throwing a fit. Bryce called on his way home from work and instead of trying to talk to him I just gave Ryann the phone, and she talked his ear off the whole way home. Neither of us have any idea of what she was saying, but she was telling him some kind of story. She also called momma pony one day. Bryce and I had no idea and she was talking her ear off too.

Ry loves her cousin Brycelynn. She says and does everything that she does! One day Brycelynn was upstairs throwing a fit. She layed down on the floor screaming I want some milk. Ryann apparently thought that would be fun so she layed down right by Brycelynn and started yelling milk milk and then turned to Brycelynn and started laughing. They are too cute together.

Ryann constantly keeps Bryce and I laughing. She is just too cute!!

She loves the water now. She doesn't even mind it when it is freezing cold. She is braver than her dad is!!

Our first outings

Major's first debu. We went to seven peaks down in provo with Megan's family. I sat with Maj in the shade most of the time, but Aunt Megan took him to the wave pool she said it was probably one of her favorite 7 peaks trip. Bryce took Ry to the kiddy pool and she got a little more comfortable being in the water. We were all exhausted by the time we left

We also made it out to church. Don't they look so cute all dressed up! Ryann honestly loves being a big sister

Baby Major

Week 1:  It was better than I anticipated although it was still a little stressful. Mostly Because Poor little Major had to be on the bili lights, and I hate them with a passion!! I almost started crying when I heard that we needed them. And then of coarse there is adjusting to no sleep which for me is always a little tricky. What can I say I love my sleep. With Ryan I could take a nap well she took nap but with major I have to wait Ryan to take a nap. I was getting a little sleep deprived so I called Margo to take Ryan for a day so I can catch up on some sleep. When Grandpa prop Ryan back home they have become best friends.
Just as I thought we were going to get major of the lights he had stopped eating and so we had to rush him to the urgent care.  they thought that he was okay and that we wouldn't have to put him back on the lights but we had to see his doctor in the morning just to make sure. His doctor checked him for urinary tract infection by giving him a straight catheter. Major of course I hated that. He cried but I think I cried harder his pediatrician asked me if I was okay. I told her that I was fine my hormones we're just a little crazy and I was feeling super is sensitive. Major was eating a lot better that day so things started going back to normal whatever that was.
Week 2: dealing with a new baby was your day but dealing with 2 puppies on top of that was not so easy especially when you're living in such a a small confined area. By now the puppies could get out of the whelping box and they didn't like staying confined especially when Lucy wasn't with them I'm by now Lucy wasn't with them whole lot. She wasn't cleaning up their pee and poop either so it seemed like all those copies did SPM poop all over the place and wine especially in the middle of the night. Is Meijer wasn't waking me up then the puppies were and I wasn't the only 1 they were waking up it was waking Ryan up as well. I was starting to lose it I didn't think puppies we're going to survive I needed to get rid of them fast. So I talk to penny and offered her the puppies first. She decided she wanted both of them
Week 3: Just lovin life
