I can't believe a month has gone by already it seems like only yesterday you joined our little family. You are growing too fast!!!

You have your nights and days a little mixed up, so it feels like I am sleeping all day to try to catch up. you know the saying if you can’t beat them…join them. You have also been getting a little more demanding. It feels like all you want to do is eat! I have been worried that I am not making enough milk for you so I have been trying to pump more and get you onto a bottle to see how much you are eating, but I am nervous that you will have nipple confusion, but you have taken a bottle a few times mostly when my back hurts (it seems like feeding you makes it worse) so dad’s given you a bottle and you down them so fast that I end up feeding you a little more and it hasn’t seemed to confuse you. You have also been starting to fart a lot and I am worried that I am eating something that gives you a belly ache. Daddy suggested that we take you to the chiropractor to align you he also does a food sensitivity test to see what foods you are sensitive to. It all seems a little strange to me, but grandma says that uncle kit swears by it so I guess I will give it a try. The doc said that you are sensitive to broccoli mushrooms macadamias, coconut, raspberries, peaches, wheat, and cow’s milk. They want me to eliminate those foods from my diet completely for two weeks while your digestive system matures. I am not going to lie life was a little rough for me I am not eating or sleeping and I spend most of the time just crying because I worry that I am being a bad mommy. The doc told me to take some fish oil supplements and that would help me with postpartum depression and it would help your digestive system mature faster, so I tried it and the next day I felt like a whole new person. I guess I had a case of the baby blues. I don’t think it helps not eating or sleeping though, so lately we let you sleep with daddy and I because it seems like you sleep better that way and right now I am desperate. Daddy said that he would sleep with you. You must like to cuddle with him because you slept for four consecutive hours which was a lot better than the usual 1-2 hours. I couldn’t believe how much energy that gave me I almost felt like I was back to normal, and after the 2 weeks were up and I wasn’t starving myself anymore things really started to get better. Plus looking at you in my arms made everything worth it. I love you so much I can’t even imagine my life without you!

She is still a little orange, but she is  definately getting the hang of eating! One time dad was in the shower and I had to pee so I watied for him to get out, by the time Ryann started getting hungry, so I handed her to Bryce and I told him that I would pee really fast. Appearently Ryann didn't want to wait. She noticed a nipple and she tried to latch right on. Bryce said it hurt, and nearly took his breath away!!

We got Ryann's newborn pics taken right after her shower. She was 2 weeks old, and she is still sleeping most of the time, so I didn't really think getting pictures done were going to be too difficult. I was very very wrong. We were there from 7 until midnight, because Ryann was having a hard time cooperating. before we even started she pooped right on her dad, and she peed on me. I should have known that we were in for a long night, our photographer Kevin Lunt was really patient with us, and we got all the pics that we wanted! A special thanks to Kevin for putting up with us. You are the best!!

The Guest of Honour

that week I took you back in to see your doctor for your two week check up you gained a little bit of your weight back you were 7lbs and 5 oz and 21 and a half inches long 25% in both The Dr. also told us that we probably shouldn't take you out for a while because there was still alot of RSV going around, but you still had another shower to go to and I love to show you off because I think you just the cutest thing I have ever seen! Daddy and i decided that daddy would bring you and take you in the other room, so we could still show you off, but doing it under the radar! that didn't last very long. people kept piling in and i was stuck in the corner opening presents. There was so many people ans so many presents that I hardly had time to eat or greet our guests once again we got so spoiled the decorations were so cute. We are both so lucky to have such nice and talented aunts!!!

Aunt Jade made the cake, pretty much the cutest thing i have ever seen!g your gorgeous aunts! We love them so much!!
