When we first brought Ryann home Lucy could care less about her, she was too excited to see her mom and dad. She thought that maybe we left for good while we were at the hospital. Little did she know what was in store for her,but she soon became very curious of the little creature that mom and dad seemed to love so much and spend all their puppy time with.

daddy explained to her that Ryann was a new part of our family now, but that we still loved the puppy very much.

Lucy wasn't sure what this meant, but she didn't like it

It meant that she was demoted to dog status. She went from being the baby of the family to the family dog.
from riding in the motorcycle

to running behind it

from riding in the front seat of the car with us

to riding in the back seat with the baby

from being held in our arms everwhere we went

>to sitting in the cart when we are at the pet store

from cuddling with us on our lap while we watch tv

to finding somewhere else to sit

even if that meant the floor!!

Poor Lucy!! it has been a hard adjustment for her, but she is starting to realize that we still love our puppy and there is plenty of room for everyone

and Lucy will make sure of it!!!
