I started scoping out Halloween costumes mid September because I am a Halloween freak! I wanted to do the same theme for the whole family and I saw a little pig costume online that I thought would look adorable on Ryann, so it was settled. The Erickson's are Ranchers this year!
Thanks to our neighbors our costumes were pretty authentic, and I must say Bryce looked pretty good as a cowboy. Now I know where they get the saying save a horse ride a cowboy ;) all except for the mustache of coarse, but his nephews loved. TJ who is 6 told Bryce that he liked his bro stache. This particular "bro stache" was made out of horse tail. Bryce's nephews also thought that Bryce needed a can that said beer on it. I am not sure what cowboys they have seen or hung out with, but apparently cowboys like to drink?? I tried to inform them that the beer was for the horses, but they didn't buy it. They must not listen to country music too much.
When I got Ryann's costume in the mail. I was a little disappointed looking at it, but it looked much cuter on and aunt Penney helped me make some piggy bows and a piggy tail which gave it a special little touch, but the best part of that costume is those cheeks!!!
As always we had our annual hood Halloween party. I love seeing everyone all dressed up!! Halloween has got to be the best holiday!!!
It was especially fun dressing Ryann up this year. I wasn't sure if I should take her trick or treating since she can't eat candy, and I didn't want people to think that I was going so I could have the candy, but I really wanted to show Ryann off so I just took her to a few houses of our closest friends in the parents neighborhood! It was too much fun!!!
