- Ryann has learned to say her own name...well kind of she says, "RyRyRyRy" which is what I call her most of the time. I also caught her saying "What is it" or "ud is it" I told Bryce about and he believed me, but it is just one of those things you have to hear for yourself. She said it again while he was building his plane, and it made him stop what he was doing and just look at her in awe. she also says yum and ooo if she sees something that looks good to her. Which is everytime her dad eats a hostass cupcake.
- Ryann makes an "Oh No" face, it has also been called her puppy power, or awkward face, but I think she learned it when I caught her pulling out her baby wipes for 100th time that day. Now everytime we say oh no or awkward she will pull this face. It is a deffinate crowd pleaser. No one can resist this face!!
- She shakes her head "no" when she doesn't want to eat anymore. Which is usually after 3 bites. She seems to eat better if I just let her do it herself, and she loves trying to eat with a fork.
- She likes milk. I didn't have a hard time at all getting her to transition for breast milk to cows milk. I was surprised at how good she did with weaning. We just went cold turkey, and she did it like a champ. I have actually been surprised to learn that she is very good at transitioning. She can be really good at just going with the flo of things. We will see when it comes time to put her in nursery at church.
- Lately she has been fighting nap time. I will give her some milk, but then she wants to get down and play.I keep wondering if she is trying to go from 2-1 nap a day, but we both need those naps. Bedtime is a lot easier for her usually. She doesn't even fuss when I put her down.
- Ryann had her first Naughty incident. Her cousin Tommy has trying to play with her, but she wanted the toy to herself, and so she would just grab the toy away from him. I told her that she has to share, and so instead of pushing the toy away from him she starting pushing him away from her. I was so shocked I didn't really know what to do about it. I don't really know how to disapline a one year old. We just took the toy away and that was the end of that. Ugh Drama Drama
- We took Ryann to see her Cousin Aubree perform in her Drill Showcase. I was a little hesitant to take Ryann because it was just about bedtime for her and these things always seem really long. I usually intrest after about an hour, so I thought it would be worse for Ryann, but as soon as we got there she loved it!! she was clapping and dancing along with the girls. I guess I better start saving money now...
- We took Ryann for her very first motorcyle ride. She seemed to like it okay once we got started. We also took her to the park. It was still a little chili, but we were dying to get outside as soon as it got a little warm. She loved everything about it. She loved the walk there, she loved the swings, she loved the slides, and she loved crawling around. We all had so much fun!!! I was sceptical of the slides at first, they seemed too big for her and it made me nervous to send her down. Good thing she is her father's daughter. She didn't seem scared at all!
